出身于茶庄世家在胡锦涛的简历上,籍贯填写的是安徽绩溪。绩溪人很是得意,在出了“红顶商人”胡雪岩、大学者胡适之后,绩溪又出现了一位政治家。而江苏泰州人心里却多少有些不服,因为从胡锦涛的曾祖父辈开始,胡家就搬出安徽绩溪,在泰州姜堰生活。胡锦涛出生在姜堰,在泰州读小学、中学。胡锦涛的父亲生前做茶叶生意,在泰州最热闹的街口开有茶叶店,生意很旺。胡锦涛自幼丧母,母亲去世时,他才7岁。1959年,年仅17岁的胡锦涛以高分从泰州中学毕业,考入清华大学水利工程系。离开了江南小镇泰州,来到北京,入读中国最高学府清华大学,是胡锦涛人生的一大转折。大学6年
