1992年8月下旬,我国政府和韩国政府在北京宣布,两国正式建立大使级外交关系。事隔一月,韩国总统卢泰愚即应我国家主席杨尚昆之邀访华。在短短的一个多月时间里,中韩以急风骤雨般的速度,改变了两国相互隔绝达40余年的不正常状态,使两国的政治关系进入了一个新时期。而在此中起奠基石作用的两国经贸关系亦随之呈现出日新月异的新态势。
In late August 1992, the Chinese government and the Korean government announced in Beijing that the two countries formally established ambassadorial-level diplomatic relations. In January, South Korean President Lu Taiyu visited China at the invitation of President Yang Shangkun of my country. In a short period of just over a month, China and South Korea have changed the two countries’ isolation from each other for more than 40 years at an astounding pace, and the political relationship between the two countries has entered a new era. The economic and trade relations between the two countries that have played a cornerstone in this process have also shown a new trend with each passing day.
