以往被认为毫无价值的蟹壳,如今却突然在生物工程的领域里崭露头角。据分析,甲壳质的化学构造与纤维质的纤维素完全一样,易吸水,对人体亦无拮抗作用。由此,科学家们使用特殊的溶液从蟹壳中提取甲壳质,用于医疗等方面。尤尼奇卡公司将甲壳质的粉末处理成薄膜状,从而制成了适用于治疗烫伤的人造皮肤。与以往使用的牛皮或猪皮相比,蟹壳人造皮肤要适合于人体,并具有吸收从伤口渗出的体液,减缓疼痛的效果。当伤口愈合长出新的皮肤后,这种人造皮肤便会自动脱落。
Crab shells, previously considered worthless, are suddenly emerging in the field of bioengineering. According to the analysis, the chemical structure of chitin and cellulose fiber exactly the same, easy to absorb water, no antagonistic effect on the human body. As a result, scientists use special solutions to extract chitin from crab shells for medical and other purposes. Unicchika processed the chitin powder into a film to make artificial skin suitable for scald injuries. Compared with the leather or pig skin used in the past, the skin of the crab shell is suitable for the human body and has the effect of absorbing the body fluid exuded from the wound and relieving the pain. When the wound healing new skin, the artificial skin will automatically fall off.
