“丹·大卫奖”也许不像“诺贝尔奖”那样历史悠久、魅力四射,受到全世界的青眼;不过其历届的得奖者,却都是世界级的大科学家。只是隔行隔山,某项学科精英的工作往往超出大众的理解力,于是他们在改变世界的同时,只能孤独地行走在不胜寒的高处,对他们的介绍也只能浮光掠影。
“The Dan David Award” may not be as historic and glamorous as the “Nobel Prize”, but it has been recognized worldwide by young eyes; however, its previous winners are all world-class big scientists. Just interlacing across mountains and mountains, the work of an academic elite often exceeds the understanding of the general public. As a result, while they are changing the world, they can only walk in lofty altitude alone. Their introduction can only be superficial.
