Under the background of large-scale society, “National Reading”, the opening up of the university library is an inevitable trend. This paper discusses the opening-up of the university library. The natural advantages of the university library provide sufficient protection for the opening of the library. However, for the moment, the opening of the university library is also existent problems, and this paper also put forward a reasonable strategy to deal with these problems. Books are the main carrier of the transmission of human civilization. Reading can improve a person’s accomplishments in culture and knowledge and culture, and is related to the quality and strength of a nation and affects the future and destiny of a nation. Books continue to integrate into our work life
