针对当前松软突出煤层钻进用大扭矩钻机转速低、高转速钻机采用分体式结构搬迁使用麻烦等不足,结合松软突出煤层瓦斯抽采钻孔施工需要,研制了一款高转速、长行程、履带行走式的跨输送带螺旋钻机;开发了高转速动力头、长行程给进装置、吊装提升装置和具有保护功能的液压回路等关键技术;在晋城王坡煤矿现场试验结果表明:该钻机结构设计合理、液压系统先进、搬迁使用方便、钻进效率和钻孔成孔深度高,在松软突出煤层中具备200 m深的瓦斯抽采钻孔施工能力。
