美国克利夫兰医院的Moodley等报告,对肝硬化患者内镜筛查食管静脉曲张并予以治疗,可降低静脉曲张出血风险。美国胃肠病学会(AGA)和美国肝病研究学会(AASLD)2007年联合发布指南,要求对肝硬化患者内镜筛查食管静脉曲张,并采用β-受体阻断剂或结扎术治疗出血高危患者。
The Moodley et al report from the Cleveland Clinic in the United States reported that endoscopic screening for esophageal varices in cirrhotic patients could reduce the risk of variceal bleeding. The American College of Gastroenterology (AGA) and the American Society of Liver Diseases (AASLD) jointly issued a 2007 guideline that requires endoscopic screening for esophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis and high risk of bleeding with beta-blockers or ligation patient.
