Medical record management is an important part of hospital management. Medical records are the main information resources of hospitals and play an important role in hospital management, medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. With the deepening of the medical reform, new tasks and requirements have also been proposed for the management of medical records. Faced with the new situation, new measures must be taken. The author discusses the deepening of reforms in the management of medical records. 1 Renewing concepts and changing functions To adapt to the needs of reform and opening up of hospitals, the medical record management work has also adjusted itself by applying the economic laws of the new period, and has handled the relationship between safekeeping and utilization, development and efficiency.
