多姿多彩的帽子,是人类服饰衣着的重要部分。帽子究竟源于何时已无从考证。说它源远流长恐不为过,仅在中国帽子就有几千年历史。远在石器时代,我们的祖先就有用绳子束发的习惯,后来束发的绳子又演变成巾,这恐怕就是帽子的“雏形”了。中国有句成语“冠冕堂皇”,冠与冕就是古时候的帽子。当时的帽类五花八门,可分为冠、冕、弁、盔、笠、帻巾、幞头等,相传都是由扎发的巾演变而来的。后来,经过世代相传改进,古时的扎发巾逐渐普及为今天多种多样的帽子。古时候的人对戴帽子是很讲究的,不仅出门时要先正冠,而且孔子的门生子路曾说“君子死,冠不免”。即使在今天戴帽也是件隆重的事。世界上不少国家与民族在戴帽上有许多讲究。
