从2001年到2010年的10年中,我国史学理论与史学史学科取得了飞速发展,不但研究深度进一步推进,而且研究领域呈现出多途发展的态势。概括来说,主要表现在理论与方法论研究、贯通研究、中国古代史学研究、中国近现代史学研究、专题研究、系列研究、文献研究与整理等七个方面,展现出史学理论与史学史研究的深度与特色。在21世纪的第二个10年中,加强理论研究、专题研究、比较研究和史学批评,应是需要加强研究的重要内容。
