《红旗歌谣》里的时代神话——革命畅想曲,的确是天翻地覆换了人间,它充满了时代的狂想主义、廉价的乐观主义、危险的冒进主义,是整个时代的一种普遍社会心态的再现,这一心态不仅对广大的工人、农民产生巨大的影响,而且给知识分子造成深深地伤害,这一影响时至今日还在继续。知识分子无法掌控社会文化资本,日益的民间化、边缘化更是切断了他们自由表达思想的通道,再加上中国传统社会的儒表法里、儒表道里对知识分子的再度冲击,使得具有双重人格及人格分裂的知识分子丧失了批判的精神和言说的空间。
