The visual evoked potentials of 14 children with amblyopia were recorded. Among them, 8 pairs of monozygotic twins and 6 pairs of twins had 21 eyes with amblyopia and 7 eyes with normal vision. The visual evoked potentials Genetic characteristics. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the main analysis parameters of left and right VEP waves in these children, while there was a significant difference (P <0.01) between the inner variance of LP1, AP1 and NP1 in both eyes when stimulated by both eyes. These parameters Heritability is also greater. Therefore, we believe that the visual evoked potential with genetic characteristics, eyes stimulated VEP waveform P100 wave latency and its amplitude can be used as amblyopic asparental children do not identify the reference index of eggs, also shows that the occurrence of amblyopia may be related to genetic.
