新时期高校学生党员队伍思想主流健康向上,但还存在着主体意识缺乏、主观能动性不强、主体作用发挥不充分等问题。究其原因,在于主体民主意识、党性观念、自身素质、党组织教育管理体制与机制建设、社会环境等诸多方面因素的影响。为此,高校要加强学生党建工作,切实发挥学生党员的主体作用,就必须进一步加强党组织自身建设,保障学生党员的民主权利,同时不断加强对学生党员的党性锤炼,切实提高学生党员的主体素质。
