文化负载词一直是跨文化交际翻译中的热点。在翻译实践《京剧》、《苏州园林》、《武术》中,出现问题最多的就是文化负载词的翻译,其次是译文不严谨问题,还有大小写和标点符号错误问题。英汉两种语言因不同的民族特色、历史进程和地域分布,所以有着不同的文化内涵,所以汉译英时常常出现空缺现象,空缺既已产生,就需要补偿,于是更增加了翻译难度。鉴于文化负载词错误最多,因此本文将基于翻译实践,在文化空缺理论的指导下,分析文化负载词的翻译策略,使译文体现文化信息,达到传播中国文化的目的。
Culturally loaded words have always been a hot spot in intercultural communication. In the translation practice of “Beijing Opera”, “Suzhou Garden” and “Martial Arts”, the most problematic problems are the translation of culturally loaded words, the second is the lack of translation, and the wrong case of capitalization and punctuation. Due to different national characteristics, historical processes and geographical distribution, English and Chinese languages have different cultural connotations. Therefore, vacancies are often found in Chinese-English translations. When vacancies are created, they need compensation and thus increase the difficulty of translation. In view of the fact that there are the most errors in the word of cultural load, this article will analyze the translation strategy of culturally loaded words based on the practice of translation and under the guidance of the theory of cultural vacancy, so as to make the translation reflect the cultural information and achieve the goal of spreading Chinese culture.
