一、学校教育概况:本省文教工作,根据彭主席在军政委员会上关于目前西北地区工作任务的指示,老区以巩固提高为主,在有条件的地区,进行部份的发展,新区以整顿改革为主。(1)陕北老区(包括黄龙半老区和榆林新区)现有小学1,349所(内完小91所),学生46,004名,教师1,906名,入学儿童占学龄儿童15%(暂以学龄儿童为全人口七分之一计算),中等学校八所,学生1.895名。
