According to the present situation of scientific development, agricultural science contains three branches of agriculture biology, agricultural engineering and agricultural economics. In agricultural engineering, in order to ensure the steady production of major foodstuffs such as grain, cotton and oil, China has attached great importance to the construction of farmland and water conservancy projects and the design and manufacture of handmade agricultural implements since ancient times, so that the entire country will have sufficient supply of grain, cotton and oil to reach Clothing and sufficient food. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, the government still attached great importance to farmland and water conservancy construction, and at the same time, developed agricultural mechanization. In 1979, economic restructuring began. In terms of agricultural engineering, agricultural engineers carried out the following tasks in addition to continuing to develop farmland and water conservancy and agricultural mechanization: rural electrification, agricultural construction and environmental control, rural energy, land-use engineering, agriculture Material processing, agricultural engineering economy, promotion of agricultural engineering, agricultural systems engineering and computer science, remote sensing technology and other new technologies in agriculture. By 1984, the total grain output in the country reached 407 million tons, which is 3.6 times the total output in 1949 and was shocked by the world. In the future, this article hopes that all agricultural workers should adopt all engineering measures to increase grain, cotton and oil yields and reduce production costs to meet the needs of rapid population growth and improvement of people’s living standard. Finally, this article emphasizes that all the great accomplishments in agriculture are the result of coordinated and concerted efforts by agricultural biological workers, agricultural engineering workers and agricultural economic workers.
