Although academic research on the phenomenon of relations is already prevalent at home and abroad, few have studied the details of specific Latin-American relations. In order to study these details so as to reveal the nature and principle of the relationship, this study conducted an ethnographic case study in two small cities in 2012-2014. The study found that people use interaction ritual to influence others in the pull relationship to obtain resources. The use of this ritual can bring handsome returns and form ritual capital. Ritual capital is a part of personal social capital. It requires long-term continuous investment to extend its “shelf-life” in addition to the proper ritual investment. It is local, personal, and time adaptive. Moreover, the role of expressive ritual capital and instrumental ritual capital in people’s lives is different.
