在本溪市风景秀丽的太子河畔,矗立着一座雄伟的清真寺,2009年10月23日,当这座清真寺落成之时,莅临祝贺的全国政协常委、中国伊斯兰教协会会长陈广元大阿訇称赞其为“东北大地上最美最好的清真寺”。本溪市清真寺建在滨河南路的回族聚居区,礼拜大殿能容纳500人做礼拜。在清真寺大门内,左右各有一幅壁刻,分别介绍了穆斯林在中国以及本溪的发展历史。这是本溪市伊斯兰教协会副会长何学瑞组织编写制作的。当问及“为何要在清真寺介绍这些内容”
