笔架山南北走向绵延约2公里,由猪头山、虎山、后山、印山、蟹山、庄厝山等多个小山组成。笔架山窑位于广东潮州市东郊笔架山,韩江的东岸,故又称水东窑。该窑创烧于唐代,晚唐、五代时一度萧条,于北宋时期极盛。经1953~1986年间多次调查和发掘,清理出北宋窑址10余座,均属龙窑。其中一、二、三、六、十号窑为分室龙窑,窑室内部用砖砌筑隔墙;四号窑为阶级窑;五、七、八、九号窑为单室龙窑。各窑均以土夯筑窑底。最长
