On September 3, 2004, Mr. Wang Peisheng, a famous Taijiquan man, died of an illness in Beijing and died at the age of 85. On the morning of September 7, Mr. Wang Peisheng’s memorial service was held ceremoniously at the Beijing Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery. Attending the memorial service were Mao Xinjian, vice president of Beijing Wushu Academy, and his relatives, representatives of various martial arts research institutes in Beijing Municipality, gatekeepers of Wu-style Taijiquan and Mr. Wang Peisheng.
