在波兰人眼中,有两样东西最能代表自己的国家:肖邦的音乐和维利奇卡盐矿。前者世界闻名;但提到维利奇卡盐矿,恐怕知道的人就寥寥无几了。这个开采于13世纪的盐矿在地下共九层,目前已被开发成了博物馆,但仅有三层对游人开放。在这个盐矿博物馆里,矿盐建的餐厅、教堂、疗养院一应俱全;矿盐雕成的艺术品遍布各处;整个就是一个矿盐构建的奇妙世界……
In the eyes of the Poles, there are two things that best represent their country: Chopin’s music and Wieliczka salt mine. The former is world-famous; but there are few people who are afraid to know about the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The salt mine, which was mined in the 13th century, is a total of nine floors underground. It has now been developed into a museum, but only three floors are open to visitors. In this Salt Mine Museum, mineral salt built restaurants, churches, and sanatoriums are all available; mineral salt sculpted works of art are scattered all over the place; the entire world is a wonderful world of mineral salt construction...
