Objective: To investigate the effect of pregnancy-induced nutritional intervention on pregnancy outcomes under the guidance of body mass index. Methods: Two hundred and eighty pregnant women with normal single-fetus were enrolled in this study. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 140 cases in each group. Both groups were given regular pregnancy test until delivery. The observation group was divided into observation group Based on the body mass index as a guide to nutritional intervention. Pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results: The incidences of GDM, HDCP, premature rupture of membranes and anemia in observation group were lower than those in control group (P <0.05, P <0.01). The vaginal delivery rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P <0.05) The morbidity of macrosomia and hyperbilirubinemia was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Nutritional intervention guided by body mass index can effectively reduce complications during pregnancy and childbirth, improve vaginal delivery rate and reduce the incidence of neonatal complications.
