几年前,我写过一篇探讨丁玲晚年心态及其动因的文章。我在这篇文章中指出,丁玲晚年陷入一个走不出去的怪圈,并且把她陷入这一怪圈的客观原因明确地归之于周扬。今天我仍坚持这样的看法。二十年来,文化界出现了不少谈论周扬的文章,其中绝大部分是肯定乃至颂扬性的,而肯定或颂扬的一个主要内容,是他晚年的忏悔,是他常常做自我批评,多次向过去被错整过的同志道歉,泪眼模糊的道歉。然而,这些文字在写到周扬的这种表现时,都没有提到丁玲。偶有提及,也是在另一种情况下,即把周扬与丁玲做对比,模模糊糊地褒周贬丁。我觉得,无论如何这不是实事求是的态度。周扬一生批判、整过不少人,从王实味到胡风,从冯雪峰到丁玲,人员之多,不可胜数。但其中整得最狠,最下力气的,还是丁玲。历史也已证明,是整错了。
A few years ago, I wrote an essay on the mentality and motivation of Ding Ling in his later years. I pointed out in this article that Ding Ling was in his later years caught up in a vicious circle that he could not get out of, and the objective reason for her being trapped in this vicious circle was definitely attributed to Zhou Yang. Today I still insist on this view. In the past two decades, there have been many articles in the cultural circle that talk about Zhou Yang. Most of them are affirmations or even praises of sex. One of the major affirmations or celebrations is his repentance in his later years. He often criticizes himself repeatedly, Apologize to the wrongly past comrades, tearful apology. However, these words did not mention Ding Ling when they wrote this performance of Zhou Yang. Occasionally mentioned, but also in another case, that is, to compare Zhou Yang and Ding Ling, vaguely praise the weekly relegation Ding. In any case, this is not a realistic attitude, I think. Zhou Yang’s life criticism, the whole lot of people, from Wang Shi Hu Feng, from Feng Xuefeng to Ding Ling, as many staff, countless. But the most ruthless in the whole, the most strength, or Ding Ling. History has proved that it is the wrong thing.
