2003年3月,西南交通大学于郫县犀浦镇以北修建新校区(图一),工程分为四期进行。2003年至2004年为一、二期工程,其占地面积约45万平方米。为配合这一基本建设工程,成都市文物考古研究所和郫县文物管理所联合组成考古队对这一区域进行了考古勘探和发掘工作。2003年3～6月、9～10月,配合一、二期工程,勘探工作共布2.5米×10米的探沟51条,勘探面积1275平方米。在勘探的基础上划出重点发掘区域,共布5米×5米的探方12个、4米×10米探沟2条,发掘面积共380平方米。方向均为140度。本次
In March 2003, a new campus was built in the north of Xipu Town, Southwest Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University (Figure 1). The project was divided into four phases. From 2003 to 2004 for the first and second phase of the project, which covers an area of about 450,000 square meters. In line with this capital construction project, the Chengdu Archeology Institute and the Yuxian Cultural Relics Management Office jointly formed an archaeological team to carry out archeological exploration and excavation work in this area. From March to June 2003 and from September to October, in cooperation with the first and second phases of the project, 51 probing ditches of 2.5 m × 10 m were jointly laid for exploration work, with an exploration area of 1275 m 2.
