Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance of serum hsC-RP in patients with diabetic foot infection (DFI). Methods 107 patients with diabetic foot before treatment and 1 week after treatment, 2 weeks for hsC-RP detection. Results (1) The more severe infection in DFI patients, the more obvious the increase of hsC-RP was. (2) The hsC-RP decreased significantly after treatment (P <0.01), and hsC-RP persisted with the prolongation of treatment time decline. Conclusion Monitoring hsC-RP can be used as one of the sensitive indexes in diagnosing DFI and its prognosis. It is of great clinical significance for the early diagnosis and judging the antibiotic efficacy in patients with mild DFI.
