由于新疆的地域情况,地区农业对农业用水依赖性特别强。新疆地区的水资源在区域分布上严重不平衡,不利于高效的农业生产。近些年,新疆大力修建水利工程,区内也持续对灌溉工程进行修建完善,大力投入农田水利工程建设。最具优势的是采用节水滴灌技术,积极兴建滴灌工程,对有限的水资源实施科学配置,解决农业用水的紧缺问题,确保农业生产的良好发展。
