贝拉是从美国引进的新品种。经我们试种,在鲁南地区六月10日前后成熟。果实扁圆或近圆形,单果重150～180克,果面浓红艳丽,覆有果粉。果肉松脆,汁多味香,酸甜可口,含可溶性圆形物13％,品质中上等。长、中、短果枝及腋花芽均可结果,早实丰产性强。特别是上市早、外观美、内质好,很受欢迎。果实见封面彩图。
