磺胺甲基噻二唑是一种尿道消毒药,服药后大部分以原形由尿中排出,为维持尿中有效浓度,需多次重复服用,因此,考虑制成缓释制剂是有必要的。本文介绍了用价廉的琼脂作基质制成磺胺甲基噻二唑琼脂珠的方法,同时进行释放率的测定。实验结果表明,药物从琼脂中可在8小时以上完全释放;干燥琼脂珠药物释放速率比不干燥珠稍小,而比药粉的溶解速率小得多。干燥琼脂凝胶的膨胀特性图表明,37℃时在pH1.0的介质中比pH7.4的介质
