The construction of ecological conservation and development zone in northeast Chongqing is the need of co-ordinating “one circle, two wings” and coordinated development of the five major functional areas in Chongqing, and is the need to realize regional integration, urban-rural integration, urbanization and overall function maximization. To speed up the construction of the eco-conservation and development zone in northeast Chongqing is a project that is in line with the people’s livelihood that is natural and in line with people’s livelihood. It is necessary to improve infrastructure conditions in the Three Gorges reservoir area and promote equalization of public services so as to speed up the development of the reservoir area and promote millions of immigrants
