以实例介绍“广东省实验动物信息网”的动态实验动物信息网页－ 数据查询及远程数据采集系统设计过程，并简介了使用方法。设计结果表明，用Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ 和Ｗｉｎｎｔ 作为工作平台，以ＭＳＳＱＬＳｅｒｖｅｒ 作为数据库管理工具，辅以ＷＥＢ 技术、Ｖｉｓｕａｌ Ｂａｓｉｃ 语言及ＭＳ系列软件，可以较为轻松地完成本网中所有数据库管理和调用的设计，形成完整的一套数据处理及应用系统。该网的设计完成为广东省实验动物学科走向信息化打下基础
