具有研磨表面的平尺,是一种精度很高的直线性量具,经过超高精度研磨过的平尺,甚至可用作刀口直尺的检定基准。这种研磨平尺的直线性要求很高,通常可用平晶根据光波干涉原理来检定。但是由于这种方法操作很困难,受温度变化的影响很大,要求检定人员的技术水平较高,数据处理又比较复杂,不易迅速、准确地获得检定结果。
