在教育领域越来越重视如何教学生学会学习的今天,诸如学习动机、学习兴趣等非智力因素对学生学习的影响,日益引起教育界的普遍关注。教师们认为智力是影响学生学习英语的重要因素,但除了智力因素占主要位置外,我们同样不能忽略非智力因素的影响力,学习动机是其源泉。在英语学习中,如果能正确了解、培养、激发学生的英语学习动机,使其在同等智力条件下,充分发挥其潜在能力,一定能在学习成绩和学习能力方面有一个非常大的飞跃,这对学生和教师来说都是极有诱惑力的事情。本文就积极培养学生英语兴趣、合理创设“问题情境”、正确运用竞赛机制等方面阐述如何培养和激发学生的学习动机。
In the field of education, more and more emphasis is placed on teaching students how to learn to learn. Nowadays, non-intellectual factors such as learning motivation and learning interest affect students’ learning more and more, which has aroused widespread concern in education circles. Teachers think that intelligence is an important factor that affects students’ learning English. However, apart from the fact that intelligence plays a major role, we can not ignore the influence of non-intelligence factors and learn motivation is the source. In English learning, if we can correctly understand, cultivate and stimulate students’ motivation to learn English so as to give full play to their potential ability under the same intellectual conditions, they will certainly make a very big leap forward in academic performance and learning ability. It’s a tempting thing for students and teachers alike. This article will elaborate how to cultivate and arouse students ’learning motivation by actively cultivating students’ interests in English, creating “problem situations” rationally, and correctly using competition mechanisms.
