四川省隆昌县五盘滩水轮泵站建在沱江干流上,安装有川100—15型水轮泵25台,总容量为5000瓩,单机引用流量5米~3/秒,设计水头5.5米,提水扬程73米,单机提水量0.207米~3/秒,该机水泵与水轮机直连,推力轴承露出水面工作,具有效率较高,检查方便等特点,这种水轮泵由省机械设计院设计,重庆铁铸管厂生产,从76年起到现在,共提水1亿3千万立方,设计灌面35万亩,占全县耕地80％,目前,由于配套工程未完工,每年实际灌面为15万亩,使粮食产量逐年有所增加,解决了工农业生产和人畜的用水问题。
