党的十四大确认以社会主义市场经济为改革目标,具有划时代的实践意义和理论意义。这也是邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义理论的重要一页。学习、宣传和研究社会主义市场经济问题,是摆在全国经济学者面前的一项责无旁贷的任务。一年多来,围绕这个热点,报刊发表了浩如烟海的文章,出版社也推出了一本又一本新著。在江苏,东南大学出版社约请经济学博士、中年教授李炳炎同志撰写的《社会主义市场经济研究》,值得向广大理论工作者和实际工作者推荐。特别是最近,党的十四届三中全会审议通过了《中共中央关于建立社会主义市场经济体制若干问题的决定》,为深化改革设计了总体框架。贯彻落实《决定》,需要全党和全国人民的共同努力。在此时刻,读到本书,有如学海茫茫,轻舟一叶,待渡者可以从中获得知识,吸取启迪。
The 14th CPC National Congress confirmed that taking the socialist market economy as the reform goal has epoch-making practical and theoretical significance. This is also an important page in Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. To study, publicize and study the problems of the socialist market economy is a duty that must be shouldered by the national economists. In the past year or so, around the hot spot, newspapers have published numerous articles, and the publishing houses have also introduced new books one after another. In Jiangsu, the Publishing House of Southeast University invited the Ph.D. in economics and Comrade Li Bingyan, a professor of middle age, to write a book entitled “Studies on the Socialist Market Economy”, which deserves to be recommended to a large number of theoreticians and practitioners. Recently, in particular, the Third Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Party deliberated and adopted the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Issues Concerning the Establishment of a Socialist Market Economic Structure,” and designed the overall framework for deepening the reform. To implement “the decision” requires the joint efforts of the entire party and the people throughout the country. At this juncture, reading this book is like learning the vast expanse of sea and having a leaf of a canoe. The waiter can gain knowledge and learn from it.
