The economic seminar on the primary stage of socialism was held in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province from November 16 to November 22, 1988. The seminar was jointly organized by Beijing Institute of Broadcasting Institute of Journalism, Sichuan Provincial Institute of Radio and Television Information Institute, Shanghai Radio and Television Institute of Radio and Television and Guangdong Provincial Radio and Television Laboratory jointly organized. Participants in the seminar included radio and television researchers from Beijing, Sichuan, Shanghai, Guangdong and Liaoning.
