Cytokeratin 20 is one of the newly discovered cytokeratin members and has unique distribution characteristics and expression patterns. It is particularly suitable for the detection of micrometastasis in colorectal cancer. This article focuses on the recent research status of colorectal cancer micrometastasis and the application of cytokeratin 20 in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer micrometastasis.
