In 1917, after Kang Youwei sent out an exclamation of Chinese painting ”extremely bad man“, he started to shout ”Chen Duxiu“ and ”art revolution“. This kind of logic from ”bad habits“ to ”revolutionary“ then constitutes the important feature and historical driving force in the evolution of Chinese art in the 20th century.
