设计策略是双向的:拥有两个景观总体规划——奥运期间运营性景观总体规划与奥运赛后遗产性景观总体规划。继承和延续北京传统中轴线的风格,引入“龙”的概念,将阴阳哲学融入到设计中,融合了墙与四合院的古老的设计元素,试图将中国传统的四合院演变成为各式不同特征的园林,成为北京北部最大的公共绿色空间。提出应该同时包括永久性与临时性的建筑,奥运会结束后,将会成为永久使用的公园。
