Objective To investigate the oppression effect of a new type of transparent compression device after permanent pacemaker operation. Methods 300 patients with cardiology admitted to our hospital from 2013 to 2015 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The observation group used a new type of transparent compression device to compress the wound, while the control group used sandbags to compress the wound. The incidence of complications, negative physiological effects, the number of compression bags shift, operation time, patient satisfaction and medical satisfaction were observed. Results Electrode dislocation did not occur in both groups, and the incidence of complications was not significantly different (P> 0.05). The incidence of negative physiological effects in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group. The satisfaction of observation group was higher than that in control group Group satisfaction was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05 or P <0.01). Conclusion The new transparent oppression device can not only ensure the safety of patients, but also improve patient comfort, improve the quality of care and reduce the burden on health care, which is worthy of clinical promotion. However, it is cumbersome to use and needs further improvement in future clinical work.
