伴随着经济社会快速发展,我国职业教育得到了飞速发展,为经济发展和产业升级换代培养了大批高素质技能型人才,但在21世纪的严重挑战面前,其教育体制和人才培养模式还不能适应培养创新人才的需要,与社会主义现代教育所应着力培养具有强大人格魅力和创造性才华的实践主体之间相距甚远。职业教育改革是一场极其深刻的总体性、结构性的改革,它涉及到教育思想、教育体制、教学内容、教材建设、教学方式、师资队伍建设和全社会传统教育观念的更新等许多方面。颠覆以学科为核心的人才培养体系,建立以技能为核心的职业教育体系。
