当代中学生,比以前的学生有了更好的生活条件,但缺少了辛勤劳动的机会;有了更多了解社会的渠道．但缺少了生活的直接体验。有的学生不知道珍惜别人的劳动成果,不能体会各行各业的艰辛与不易,有的学生表现得缺少感恩心和责任心,还有的学生不懂得如何去为了社会和自己努力奋斗。2006年暑期,金陵中学组织高一年级学生开展了为期八天的“职业体验”活动。这次活动以“体验百行生活、理解劳动甘苦、懂得感恩奉献、规划美好人生”为主题,八百多名学生分布在南京邮政局、苏果超市、南京红十字老年康复医院、珠江路幼儿园、新华报社印务中心装订车间、地铁车站、江浦农村等近三十个职业岗位。按照要求,上岗同学一律身穿校服、佩戴印有“体验、理解、奉献”胸牌上岗,严格执行自己所在单位的作息制度,遵守工作单位的各项规章制度。八天中,同学们通过自己的努力,为所在岗位做一份贡献,服务社会,锻炼才干,同时也进一步增强了自己的责任感和使命感。
Contemporary middle school students have better living conditions than previous students, but they lack the opportunity for hard work; they have more channels for understanding society. But it lacks a direct experience of life. Some students do not know how to cherish the fruits of other people’s labor, they cannot understand the hardships and difficulties of all walks of life. Some students lack gratitude and sense of responsibility. Others do not know how to work hard for society and themselves. In the summer of 2006, Jinling Middle School organized senior year one students to carry out an eight-day “professional experience” activity. The theme of the event was “Experience 100 life, understand labor, understand dedication, and plan a wonderful life.” More than 800 students were located at Nanjing Post Office, Suguo Supermarket, Nanjing Red Cross Older Rehabilitation Hospital, and Zhujiang Road Kindergarten. There are nearly 30 professional jobs such as Xinhua Newspaper Printing Center binding workshops, subway stations, Jiangpu countryside and so on. According to the requirements, the students who wear posts shall wear school uniforms, wear badges bearing the “experience, understanding, and dedication” and take posts, strictly implement the work and rest system of their own units, and abide by the rules and regulations of the work units. During the eight days, the students through their own efforts to contribute to their jobs, serve the community, exercise their abilities, but also further enhance their sense of responsibility and mission.
