美国当代畅销书之一《改变思想改变生活》是美国作家韦恩·W·戴尔写的《道德经》对他思想的启迪。该书体现了一位当代美国人对《道德经》的理解。我们可以从中看到《道德经》的东方思维方式对西方人的启发,也看到这种启发中仍旧带有浓厚的基督教的影子。韦恩·W·戴尔对《道德经》的推崇与误解,与长期以来《道德经》传播所受基督教的影响有关,也体现出新的时代条件下,世界哲学的发展以及中国软实力的增强对《道德经》哲学思想传播的作用。
One of the best-selling American books “Changing Mindset and Living” is an inspiration to his thought written by the American writer Wayne W Dell. The book embodies the understanding of a contemporary American about the Tao Te Ching. We can see the enlightenment Westerners have of the oriental way of thinking of the Taoist Scriptures and we can see that there is still a strong shadow of Christianity in this inspiration.
