汉霸二王城遗址,位于荥阳市东北广武山上。秦汉之际,刘邦与项羽对垒,修筑东、西广武城以为相持。鸿沟以西的城为刘邦所筑,是为汉王城;以东为项羽所筑,为楚王城。公元前205—203年,汉楚相持,成皋之战就是在广武、荣阳、成皋这个地方进行的,史载“与项羽战荥阳,争成皋之口,大战七十,小战四十”[1]。2010年11月,笔者对汉霸二王城进行了初步的调查。并对历史意义做了初步思考。
The site of the Han Ba Second King City is located on the Guangwu Mountain in the northeast of Fuyang City.
