中国当代艺术三十年的历史,同时也是一部影像效果的模仿史。不同时期艺术家对照片的态度,成就了他们各自的流派。自上世纪80年代初,陈丹青和罗中立的绘画以照片为工具,辅助获取素材;90年代初刘小东和方力钧改造照片,张晓刚借用了照片图式;90年代中后期影像绘画把照片作为写生对象;新世纪第一个十年卡通一代直接利用电脑软件处理照片。莫非此类。摄影已经成为一种文化形式,并开始影响绘画创作。今天的架上绘画在影像文化的背景下,图像对绘画而言不只是辅助作用,图像正改变着艺术家的审美趣味和艺术态度。
