N-acetyltransferase (NAT) is an important phase Ⅱ metabolic enzyme in the body, mainly in hepatocytes, which catalyzes the transfer of acetyl groups from acetyl-CoA to aromatic amines and heterocyclic amines. The human body plays an important role in the activation and / or inactivation of aromatic amine carcinogens. The genetic polymorphism of NAT is closely related to the genetic susceptibility of bladder cancer, and has become a hot spot for scholars both at home and abroad in recent years. This article mainly summarizes the research status of NAT gene polymorphism and genetic susceptibility to bladder cancer.
