2001年是“十五”计划的第一年,我省国民经济保持了持续、健康的发展态势,经济增长速度和增长质量明显提高。全年国内生产总值比上年增长9.1％。在这种背景下,价格总水平也呈现出小幅稳定上升态势,全省居民消费价格总水平比上年上升0.7％,结束了自1998年以来持续三年的下降局面。但由于供大于求的格局仍未改变和经济生活中的一些深层次矛盾依然存在,我省价格回升的基础仍不稳固。2002年我国经济将继续保持较高的增长速度,但同时也面临一些考验,预计价格总水平仍将保持稳中有升的格局。
In 2001, the first year of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the national economy of our province maintained its sustained and healthy momentum of development. The rate of economic growth and the quality of its growth have been remarkably improved. The annual gross domestic product grew by 9.1% over the previous year. Against this background, the general level of prices also showed a slight and steady upward trend. The overall level of consumer prices in the province rose by 0.7% over the previous year, ending the downturn that lasted for three years since 1998. However, as the pattern of oversupply has not changed and some deep-rooted contradictions in economic life still exist, the basis for price recovery in our province is still not stable. In 2002, China’s economy will continue to maintain a relatively high growth rate, but it will also face some tests at the same time. It is estimated that the overall price level will maintain its steady growth pattern.
