OBJECTIVE: To study the distribution of Catalin eye drops in cornea, iris, lens, sclera, aqueous humor and vitreous tissue of rabbits at different times, and to provide basis for evaluating the significance of eye drops in the treatment of endophthalmitis. Methods: Catharantine 131I labeled with rabbit eye at 0.5 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours after the determination of the rabbit’s eye tissue count rate of 131I (CPM). Results: The analysis showed that rabbit aqueous humor in two hours the highest drug concentration, but after 2 hours decreased rapidly. The concentration of drug in crystal and vitreous was lower and did not change much. The amount of cataritine dropping into the crystal was only 0.11% -0.44% at different time. Conclusion: Cathartane eye drops easily enter the aqueous humor through the cornea, making it difficult to enter the lens
