一家外资软件企业,自进驻武汉开发区的软件园后迅速成长,在两年时间内,它已组建了一支四五十人的开发团队。这家企业的主要任务是作为海外总部的开发基地,完成大量海外软件项目订单。企业规模在迅速扩大,但海外总部对它却并不满意。原因在于,尽管它招聘的多是本地著名高校毕业的、有一两年工作经验的软件工程师,但其总体开发能力却一直很弱,不断需要总部提供高成本的技术支持。此外,它的人员流动也很频繁,近半年来,流失的员工高达员工总数的1/3。
A foreign-funded software company has grown rapidly since entering the Software Park in Wuhan Development Zone. Within two years, it has formed a development team of 40 to 50 people. The main task of this enterprise is to develop a large number of overseas software project orders as a development base for overseas headquarters. The scale of the business is rapidly expanding, but overseas headquarters are not satisfied with it. The reason is that although it recruits mostly well-established software engineers graduating from a well-known university with a year or two of work experience, their overall development capability has been weak and the headquarters continuously need to provide high-cost technical support. In addition, its staff turnover is also frequent, nearly half of the loss of employees up to 1/3 the total number of employees.
