With the development of computer and multimedia technology, the use of multimedia courseware in teaching is more and more widespread. Sound is an important medium used in multimedia courseware. The reasonable use of sound in courseware will directly affect the quality of courseware. The role of audio media in multimedia and how to properly use audio media in multimedia courseware are discussed.
