近年来，由于环保对柴油机低排放、低烟度的要求越来越高，以及柴油机本身向着大功率、低油耗的方向发展，要求与之相配的油泵类产品也不断改进。传统的产品开发方式已不能适应新形势的要求。木文首先分析了传统产品开发过程与并行产品开发过程的特点，并针对油泵类产品的开发过程进行分析，提出基于并行工程的油泵类产品开发过程模型，并在Ｍｅｔａｐｈａｓｅ系统中加以实现。
